Experience
Chris brings more than two decades of leadership and management experience to the IZALE team. Before taking off in his career in financial services, he served in the United States Air Force. While in his first role as Air Traffic Control Officer, he cross trained to a flying position. After soaring the wild blue yonder for 17 years, Chris retired as a Lieutenant Colonel with master navigator wings.
Ask him and he will readily admit that his military experience showed him how to be agile, recognize risks, avoid traps, and absorb shockwaves when the unexpected happens. These traits have spilled over into his civilian career at IZALE.
Accomplishments
During active duty, Chris completed strategic assignments at all levels. While serving his country, Chris deployed in support of contingencies in Europe with Operation ALLIED FORCE and the Middle East with Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM.
His passion for excellence and zest for flying earned him several prestigious medals including the:
- Air Medal
- Meritorious Service Medals
- Presidential Unit Citation
- NATO campaign Medal
Chris earned his Masters Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and became a licensed insurance agent in 2013. He amassed 250 hours of combat time and served as deployed commander in Afghanistan. This rich blend of teamwork, focus, dedication, and courage are values that Chris exemplifies as he helps each client achieve their financial objectives.
